| Windows XP/Ubuntu 9.04 (Dual Boot) | Need help with taskbar toolbars. I'm using Windows XP SP3, every time I cut my computer on the language toolbar shows up. I'm getting tired of cutting it off every time. How do I stop it from coming up? |

| Vista home premium 32bit | Re: Need help with taskbar toolbars. I am not sure whether that works in XP because I am on Vista. But it does not hurt to try. Right click on the taskbar, go to "toolbars" and uncheck " Language bar". As I said, that's how it is done in Vista. |

| Windows XP/Ubuntu 9.04 (Dual Boot) | Re: Need help with taskbar toolbars. That only works until I restart. Then it comes right back. It didn't start doing it until I updated to SP3. |

| Vista home premium 32bit | Re: Need help with taskbar toolbars. Hmm, too bad. I am really not an XP expert. With Vista and Window7 I never encountered such a problem. Maybe you want to upgrade. Especially W7 is a lot of fun - and it runs well on very modest systems. |

| Windows XP/Ubuntu 9.04 (Dual Boot) | Re: Need help with taskbar toolbars. I use Linux mostly. My computer came with Vista and I quickly upgraded to XP. As far as Windows 7, i have a beta copy, it's worse than Vista. If it wasn't for the few programs I have that won't run in Linux I would abandon Microsux altogether. |

| Vista Ultimate SP2/Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Need help with taskbar toolbars. I don't use XP any more but if memory serves me right..... To close the Language bar (using Classic view in Control Panel): 1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Regional and Language Options. 2. On the Languages tab, under Text services and input languages, click Details. 3. Under Preferences, click Language Bar. 4. Deselect the Show the Language bar on the desktop check box. |
