| Vista Ultimate x64, SP2 | Re: Set specific apps to work on secondary monitor? Hello PainlessTorture, If your second monitor will work on your laptop, then yes you can, i have mine playing music or videos all the time when I'm surfing. You need to set it as "extended desktop". |

| Vista Ultimate x64, SP2 | Re: Set specific apps to work on secondary monitor? Right click desk top and open Personalisation, go to Display Settings, there you will see your two screens, you can drag the screens to fit you setup, if your second monitor is on the right of your primary monitor, drag the second screen to the right, (or left as the case may be), you have to think of your second monitor as an extension to your desktop, it helps if you look at the two as one big desktop. If you start the Media Player minimised, drag it over to your other screen, it's just the same as moving it across the desktop, you just go off one screen and on to the other. Once there, you can do what you like with it. Hope this helps, sorry it's so long, but it's kinda hard to explain if you know what i mean. Good luck and let us know how it goes. |
