Windows DVD maker.

hey guys (sorry if wrong thread)
i have windows DVD maker on my Compaq CQ60 Laptop i have been burning DVDs latley and they allwork fine but suddenlt the thing pops ups and says windows DVD maker could not decode one or more of the files please veryfy you have the correct decoding sorftware and try again. all files started off as .avi and i know they have to be converted to DVD format so im not sure whats going on i tried with a diffrent movie and worked fine.its only that movie that does not work

um your program imgburn does not do Movies you know moving pictures like .avi/.wmp/.mp4 like o movie. so back to problem all movie son my laptop are avi they all burn perfectly i have the codec Xvid thanks to GSpot (google it) also i have burned avi files with Xvid codecs before its only now that its screwing up.

imgburn is only for pics like.jpg and files not movies i dont think i have to convert cos iv burnt from avi straight to DVD format

Oops - I don't know why I was thinking you were trying to burn an iso image. Mea cupla. The best set of codecs around is k-lite.
