| vista ultimate | recovery disc help i have a home built system with vista ultimate. i am trying to create recovery discs! there is no recovery manager, what r my options?  |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: recovery disc help Hello Ripzx, and welcome to Vista Forums. Since you do not have a OEM (store bought) brand computer (ex: Dell, HP, Gateway, etc.....) from looking at your system specs, you will not have a OEM recovery manager type program installed. Instead, you can create a recovery disc from Vista to use to only repair Vista with and not be able to reinstall Vista with though. If this is not what you meant, then please clarify. | vista ultimate | Re: recovery disc help yeah i kinda figured that  but is it possible to create a disc (or 2) that i can load up as new with everything as i have it on my partiton so that if ever i have to reformat i can just put the discs in and load everything as is?and thanx for your response on this also. |
