Hi all,

I have this problem whereby I have a mobile broadband by Vodafone and have installed it's Mobile Connect software in order to connect to the internet. However, after many tries and reinstalls, the problem persisted. Below is a screenshot of what is shown everytime I tried to open the program:

I am using Vista Business. Also, a month ago, I have uninstalled my Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 as I am not needing them for my programming-based projects anymore... And this is not the first time the side-by-side error has occurred. Previously I am using the Ulead Videostudio software and the Side-by-side error came up after months of usage. The problem I am suspecting maybe due to my uninstallation of MS Visual Studio. Maybe. But Since I ain't a pro in Vista or programming, I have no idea and have been struggling desparately in an attempt to make my Mobile Connect Software work so that I can have use my mobile broadband, which I have signed up for 3 weeks already!!! Seriously, I hope if there's any gurus here who could solve my problem (but hopefully the solution is not to reformat the whole computer as I have many datas not backed-up yet).

Hope to hear from any kind souls soon!!! Thanks, and Blessed Be.

Are you using an internal wireless card or a supplied external USB or PCI type? With either one make sure your drivers are up to date and the software is its highest revision. Also I am sure that technical support through them would have more insight than alot of us on here. Try contacting their respective technical support to troublshoot your issues.

what does event viewer say? In the error it says see evtvwr for more details. to get to event viewer (type event viewer in search) go to the window log, application tab and look for errors (red "X" in left column) use the built in snipping tool to take a snapshot and upload it to us using the attachment icon (shaped like a paperclip in the repl form)

thanks

Ken
