    Stackhash issues

Every time I load a web brower, the program crashes (IE, Firefox, Chrome, the browser in WM11....everything). Same thing if I try to update Avast and Malwarebytes. I did a manual avast update, no virus' found, same problems. I get DEP errors for all of these programs, and I still get them when I try to set exceptions for them. The internet stays connected.

At the same time, Nero Backitup constantly runs and crashes, and does not stop, prompting the "Nero Backitup has stopped working" window and a DEP balloon to continually appear (if I close the dialog box).

Anyone have anything else they could suggest before I reinstall Vista? No restore points available, and I hadn't installed anything new when I started getting the errors a couple days ago. Upgrading to Service Pack 2 (windows update still works fine as well) did not help. Neither did going in to safe mode. Or shutting down every non-essential process I could click on.

Have you checked to make sure DEP is on for all programs?

    Its in control panel>system panel>adanced settings>performance settings >DEP

Let us know how it turns out

It already was set to all programs, I have also tried to set exceptions for all of them to no luck.

Fresh installs of Firefox and Opera were a no-go, and Avira also would not update.

Anything in event manager>windows logs>applications. Any errors relating to the app crashing? if so what event id and source?

50,000+. Most of them due to NBServices.exe, which as I said has been constantly opening itself up crashing, Event ID 1000 under the source Application error. There is also a bunch from Google Update, ID 1.

I had already disabled the service, it still continues to crash and restart itself. The fix they have listed it for also apparently is 32 bit only.

disabling it may not be enough. You probably should uninstall it completely and see if you still blue screen. the errors in event viewer are a dead give away.

Seriously, if you have a backup that you can restore from its time. IF not its time for a clean install. Is there anything on that drive that you cant live without?
