Bypass Logon Screen??

I have looked everywhere for this question and cant find it, just received my new Dell Studio Desktop pc with vista installed, after inital set up and turn on I realize I have to click on my user name in the log on screen, I dont have to type a password due to the fact that I did not submit a password when i first set up the computer, but when the computer comes out of sleep or turns on you have to click on your user name to get to the desk top, I have seen many posts where there are several accounts or for when you have to type your password after you click on your username but I havnt seen any that says anything about my issue where password isnt required just clicking on username, I just what to bypass that screen all together.

Also when you turn on the power button and it gets to the logon screen, from sleep or when it was shut down you cant move the mouse for about 5 seconds of so almost like its not connected and then suddenly it connects is there a setting for that or does it happen only on my computer.:cry::sa:

E-Mail me.......for faster delivery, Im new here and not sure if I will be emailed if a reply is posted.

If you're the only user that needs an account, go to control panel > user accounts. There is probably a guest account set up. Click where it says manage another account and turn OFF the guest account. That should fix it.

My wireless USB mouse/keyboard isn't ready instantly. I think the system must have to poll the USB ports after it wakes up. If you're not using a USB mouse, then I don't have a better idea.

Hah! We're both one post newbies.:geek:
