Im tring to install an inventory control sofware called wasp inventory control but getting the following error. Im not to good at this and hope someone could help me and walk me throw this.

first we need you to fill in your system specs (lower left corner of your posts) so we know what hardware you have.

then is the app you are trying to install developed for an XP machine? when installing did you install in compatibility mode?

this are the system requirements for the software.

Windows 2000, XP (SP2), Vista (32-bit), Server 2003 (32-bit), Server 2008 (32-bit)
Pentium 4 (500 MHz) or better processor
512 MB RAM minimum (1 GB recommended)
1 GB of available hard drive
DVD Drive (for software installation)

ok so it can run 32bit vista. something is problematic. can you go into event viewer (type that in search) go to the windows log, application tab and look for errors (red"X" in left column) with the app listed in them.

let us know what they are and what the event id and source codes are.

Isnt net framework already installed in vista? or sp1?

The source of the error is WMI. I have service pack 2. and im not sure if i have microsoft .net installed i tried looking for it but cant find it or dount have it.
