Resize linux Partition from windows

i have tried this post in other forums but with no real reply.

I have recently installed Ubuntu and dual boot that and vista.

I am haveing problems in ubuntu regarding disk space

can i resize the Ubuntu partition using vista?

i have a partition wizard home edition and this is what my disks are currently like.

any help explanation would be very much appreciated.

What exactly are you trying to do? For whatever partiton maintenance you need to do there is a really good 3rd party application that has a 30 free trial. its called parigon disk suite 2009 and its bullet proof and easy to use

i cant do anything on Ubuntu and need more room to move around currently i have only 16mb fre and over 300gb free on my windows partition. will give your free porg a go

its perfect for that. just to be safe make sure you have a current backup. paragon has never broken anything but I always backup to be sure

Personally I use GParted to resize mixed hard drives like this, although one could see it as a downside that it's a live cd rather than a program in Windows.
