how to delete video files

I have problem with some of files i have downloaded. Everytime I try to open the containing folder of these files, my windows will be hang for a few minutes. I tried to delete these files too but it doesnt vanish at all.It will appear recycling something and not deleting. I dont mind if it doesn't affect my pc. but everytime i open the containing folder it will make my pc hang and lag until i restart my pc.But after that if i still want to delete that files the problem still same..cant fix at all..help pls.:cry:

Hmm... Whats the full path to this folder that houses the video you can't delete. I.e. C:\Users\[your username]Desktop\videos\myvideo.wmv

Ok I'm going to make a batch file that will delete that. Give me one second. Now your 150% sure that is the correct path? Because I wont be responsible if that information is incorrect and something important is deleted.

Have you tried deleting in safe mode?

Have you scanned the machine for viruses? Was the video downloaded? If so, did it come with anything else, anything that didn't seem right? You stated you also tried running CCleaner to empty the recycle bin correct?

how to scanned the machine?
because i download from the mozilla explorer..just this video only problem.the size is only 4kb.
yup i got try clean with CCleaner also..

What anti-virus do you have installed?

Go back into safe mode, pull the video out of the recycle bin, place it back on the desktop, then select the video, hit and hold the 'Shift' key and then press the 'Del' or 'Delete' key. This will permanently delete the video.

yup i already try to clean with CCleaner but its only clean until 20% then its like not working..

Click on the Mcafee icon in the lower right hand corner. This will open up a window, then just choose scan.

As far as the file not deleting.. Hmm. Is it on your desktop now?
