Windows Explorer randomly shuts down from right clicks

Basically, while I'm using my computer, when I right click on something (desktop, icons, etc.) windows explorer crashes and restarts. However, it's not like it happens all the time, but it's more like a ticking time bomb. One moment it will work, and the next, it just crashes on me.

I used ShellExView already and tried disabling certain items on the list, but since I'm not entirely sure if it's working because it can suddenly work but then a few minutes later it starts to restart again.

Any ideas?

Also... if you have WinAce, try uninstalling that.

Finally - go into c:\windows\minidump, zip the dump file (*.dmp) and upload it to us using the attachment icon (shaped like a paperclip)

I have used ShellexView, but like I said in my first post, I'm not sure if it remedies the problem because the right click->windows explorer restart only happens once in a while. If it happened all the time, then I think I could find what is causing the problem but when I use ShellExView and it stops restarting, I think it's fixed but then it comes back. So I don't think it's that.

Also heres my minidump (although I JUST bluescreened no more than 2 minutes ago so it might actually reveal something else)

Your memory might be corrupted. Replace the modules. 0x3B references a possible memory problem. Have you changed your page file settings?

From the dump it MIGHT be win32k.sys is corrupt.

Go to
C:\WINDOWS\System32 and rename the Win32k.sys file to Win32k.old and then
close the window.

Now go back to the system32 folder and you will have a new and non-corrupt Win32k.sys file.

The behavior also may be caused by that the virtual memory being corrupted. Disable and then enable Virtual Memoryhttp://www.pcreview.co.uk/forums/thread-94921.php# to see whether it solved the problem.

That's an old XP solution. Doubtful it will work. I think the memory is off. Look at the dump above.

I just ran the memory diagnostic tool, and it said that I have no errors. Plan B?

Can you try new RAM? Just a single 2GB stick.
