Vista Ultimate Activation question

Hi all,

I installed an oem version of Vista Ultimate and didn't install with the serial key till later

I input the keys through the option in My Computer, and inserted a set of serial that I acquired, I don't know the history of the key or if it have been activated/used. However, the activation went through and everything seems fine.

My question is, will I get checked within a month or so? Will I run into problems running the system? If so should I disable windows update?


-My Acer came with Vista Home OEM, however it didn't come with recovery disk, so this is my first option to try. Thanks

Sorry Vince, but this looks like an illegally obtained key and we cannot support this. Do not repost about this subject.

If it's legal, you will not have a problem. If not, you bet you will have activation issues later.
