Can I copy Vista`s special glass Icons?

I have a data D: drive, as well as my C: drive. Due to my D: drive being totally empty, I sometimes use it to store long files, such as movie files (music videos, TV programs, etc...). So, this is my question: Could I reproduce or copy in some way those lovely Vista special glass Icons, so I can have a Videos Icon, or a pictures Icon on my Data drive as well? Is there any way this can be done?

    Hello Cosmicpeace,

Did you want to change the drive icon to one of them? If so, then the tutorial below will help show you how to. The yellow tip box under step 21 will show you how to find and use the nice green looking arrows in the C:\Windows\System32\imageres.dll file.

    Drive Icon Change

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Thanks for that! I`ll give that a read, but really what I wanted to do was to have a glass icon for my videos, but inside the drive D:, so basically, when I double click on the D: drive icon, & go into the drive, & there I got an icon for my videos, inside that all my videos. I hope that`s a bit more clear
