Hi, I use Vista Home.
Awhile back, when I opened Explorer, it opened to the Documents folder and the column headings were incorrect (they were the same as the Music folder). I fixed them and now I get the correct column headings each time I open Explorer. I checked the Pictures and Music folders, and the column headings didn't change (they were...and still are...correct, and different from each other and from the Documents folder). But when I send or upload a file, I still get Music headings with my Documents folder.
For example, just now I was sending an attachment in email. I clicked to add the attachment and it opened an instance of Explorer, which opened to my documents so that I could choose what to send. The headings were those that are associated with music files. I had to change them, which usually means that I remove most of the column headings that are there and add a date, type, etc. column, so that I can find the file I need. But the next time I have to upload or send a file, it's back again. I can't get it to keep the column settings.
Another problem is that even though I fixed the column headings in my Documents folder when I just open Explorer (and not sending an attachment), my menus are still Organize, Views, Play All and Burn. How do I change those so that they don't think my Documents folder is still a music folder?
