I am having trouble with my start menu. My main links work but my sub-menus are not clickable. If I scroll over to them and click then the start menu closes. This even goes for my shut down link. I am new with Vista and have tried all I can think to do. Any ideas?

firstly restart your pc - you cant do this so press start button + R then type cmd
in the command prompt type restart -r -f
your pc will restart and then see if it will work from there.
After that go to event viewer (start button + R) type event viewer and see if there were any errors in the last hour or so. post them to us on the net
