hey everyone
im using a toshiba satellite M300 running vista home premium
and i have just had the LCD cable replaced in the repair shop..
i dont think this is the problem

but before i sent it in, i had fully operational icons in the taskbar
including time, messenger, power and volume control.

i got the computer back and now the power and volume icons have disappeared.
the time and messenger are still there



i have gone into properties > notification tab and the option for CLOCK is checked
but Volume, Network and Power are all greyed out. i can control other program icons but those three just dont seem to be available.

HELPPP??
