major crash!

help!!!

wmp crashed whilst playing a CD, now the laptop won't open at all, it even freezes during opening in safe mode! It also doesn't read the vista installation DVD when it asks for it... the laptop: samsung R560 on vista home basic less than i year old.I don't remember the WMPseriesnumber,probbly 11

any ideas? can't get past the (knight rider-esque) green loading bar even though 15mins I waited.

its difficult to advise troubleshooting as you cant get into safemode , and it wont read your vista disk

you said its less than a year old...........what about warrenty it should have at least a year on it RMA it
