I want to get a netbook for my work and would like to surf on the internet when I'm on public transports, but I don't know much about netbooks, I wonder if you guys could have any recommendations to me please? Which one should I choose? Sony? Samsung? Fujitsu? And where can I buy it for a good price?

basically a NETBOOK is a smaller version of a laptop. I guess you would want one for buiness... Ok so heres some details on NETBOOK features.
OS: windows XP OR windows 7
CPU: Intel ATOM up to 1.7GHz 512L2 cache.. (this is smaller and the SAME speedas the one in my NOTEbook.
Memory: most have 1GB and im not sure if you can have higher...
HDD: Mostly 60GB to 100GB
Resolution would be 1024x768 or lower

most have a webcam built in and wireless (ofcourse) and im positive to use on transport you have to tap into a wireless router but most are for businesses and have a password..
they DONT have a DVD/CD drive and 2 USB hubs...
as for the brand any should be fine... i would go with sony or dell. HOPE I CAN HELP

I own a HP Mini 110 Netbook, and I like it. The only thing I have a problem with is the size of the battery (stciks out a little), and the wireless adapter's capabilities. Other than those two issues I like my little Netbook. :)

As the slim, snazzy HP Mini 1000 is one of our favorite Netbooks, and we were excited to hear of a less expensive sequel. While the new $329 Mini 110 doesn't stray far from the Mini 1000 mold, there are some subtle changes that are not always for the best.
