problem related to ntvdm.exe

Hi,

I'm using windows vista home basic 32 bit(preinstalled in my notebook).
While working on turbo C++ ide, sometimes I face the error message "NTVDM.exe has stopped working. Close the program". And after showing this the application terminates.

Also the windows vista help and support application don't respnse and show the error
"Internet explorer can't download/ from windows".

The computer sometimes also get unexpectedly shutdown.

I've also formatted the C drive from one key recovery, but the problem keeps reoccuring and have become persistent.

Please help me to solve these problems.

Thank You.
