| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Windows did not start properly. ?? I hit the power button as always, it immediately slams into some black DOS-like screen, WINDOWS DID NOT START PROPERLY. ok. never seen this, not once. So it goes into some Startup repair..does that for awhile, then says it finished and goes to a restore point. I noticed a couple programs I uninstalled, are back. No big thing. Anyone seen this? EDIT: rebooted again, didn't see problem. |

| Vista Ultimate x64, SP2 | Re: Windows did not start properly. ?? Hello eknirb, You will get this if Vista was not shut down properly, if Vista was shut down properly and you still get this, then it may be a good idea to run the file checker. I cant think of anything else that would cause this, especially if Vista is running OK. The only thing to do is to wait and see if it does it again. May be a good idea to run a malware program too, just to be safe. Good luck. |
