Can i install windows XP over VISTA 64 bit premium home as it is not allowing me to do so.
I am trying to install Informatica 8 BI tool on VISTA and it is throwing error for imcompatibility.
You can, but you cannot do it from within Vista itself. It must be a 'clean' installation. In other words you have to format and wipe Vista and all your data. This can be achieved using the XP disc during installation.
Have you tried installing Informatica 8 BI with XP compatibly mode?
