Didn't know what area to post this so I stuck it in here.
I was on my laptop (advent 5401) when the screen went black, but I could still here the fans and whatnot. I waited a bit but eventually turned it off by holding down the power button. When I turned it back on, the fans started but the screen stayed black. Briefly the screen went white with a mix of grey. It then went black again with weird blue glitchy lines flickering across the screen.
At this point I was like WTF. My laptop has turned itself off before, but nothing this worrying has happened! When I try and turn it on now, all I get is a black screen with the fans on and the power light turns on. I can leave it like this for ages, nothing happens (the little light with a cylinder picture turned on briefly once).
What can I do? I'm uaing Vista 32 I think.. Any help is appreciated!
