(re)installing Vista again on different partition...however

I want to install Vista on a new partition, then delete my current one. However, once i put in the reinstallation disk, it doesn't ask where I want to install, instead says i don't have enough space on my D: drive to continue the installation....and obviously I don't want it on the D: drive, I want it on my F: drive.

How do I direct the installation to my F: drive so I can complete the install?

    Thanks.

    Hello Huskersfan1,

Is your D: and F: drives separate hard drives, or just separate partitions on the same hard drive? If not, can you post a screenshot of your Disk Management?

Are you doing the installation at boot using the Vista installation disc?
