Windows Search Broken Link Start Menu

The title says it all :sarc: Okay - here's the problem: after uninstalling Copernic Desktop Search I cannot search using Windows Search from the Start Menu. It comes up with an "Application Not Found" error (obviously Copernic) - so, how do I make Windows Search the default again? Note that the index is running and I can search from inside Windows Explorer.

Solved it! Okay - here is what I did according to Overview of Windows Vista desktop search Changes in Windows Vista Service Pack 1 which reads in part:
The default desktop search application for the search protocol is controlled from Control Panel. Use one of the following methods to view or change the default program for the search protocol.

Associate the search protocol with a program:
  1. Click Start, and then click Default Programs.
  2. Click Associate a file type or protocol with a program.
  3. Select the search protocol, and then click Change program.
  4. Select the program that you want as the default program for handling the search protocol, and then click OK.
I found the Windows Search Protocol at the bottom of the list and changed the default to Windows Explorer - tad-dah! Case closed.
