Got my Win7 DVD the other day, and will be doing a nice clean install probably in the next day or so. One thing I'm not anxious to lose though, is all the saved CD data in the cdplayer.ini database (I'm pretty darn picky about how I like stuff, and I have some a lot of local/unpopular stuff that isn't in cddb). If I simply copy my current vista cdplayer.ini file, and then when I install 7, paste it into the appropriate directory replacing the default one, will my cd player recognize the discs already stored?
