my user profile does not load

i have a windows vista (home premium) 32 bit system. my user profile did not load and message displayed that changes made will not be saved. i have gone through other discussions of the same query but they did not help. i tried system restore, changing state value to zero, i dont know the admin password either. i deleted my registry file(ntuser....). please help. the last thing i want to do is windows reinstall
