How to display Temp Internet Files in IE.

In my normal old XP pro IE, I just click Tools, Internet Options, Settings, View Files
To be able to view and copy the temporary internet files, from IE. But with my vista, when i do the same thing, even though I have activated make hidden files visible, the temp inet folder appears empty. I assume they are present, but Just cannot see them.
Can someone point me in the right direction to make them available to me...

Also if anyone knows of any handy tools for managing the temp files let me know.
I copy a ton of stuff frm the temp inet folder and its very cumbersome.

Thanks

I never checked mine before but after your post I followed your instructions and on my laptop, running vista home premium 32 bit, using IE 8, I can view mine. I can view both files and objects. I clicked tools, internet options, under browser history click settings, then click view objects or click view files. It shows all temp files and objects in each folder for me.

Thanks for both your responses JP and BF, the cacheview web sites is fantastic.. I see lots of things I am interested in. Thanks for sharing.

Still haveing problems though... really weird...
Sometimes more occasional than frequent, I can do tools, internet options, under browser history click settings, click view files and actually view the temp inet files.
But mostly the view is a blank screen that is the directory is empty...
Now the weird part... sometimes the files show.. and same when I use the cache viewer... great tool, but most of the times it shows a blank directory..
Stanger yet, is that a few times both cache viewer and the button click access above shows all the temp inet files..

I have noticed that when the files show and I hilite and delete them all, then go back and load another page in the browser... the file direcftory remains blank..

This is driving me crazy as i need to access a ton of files in the temp inet folder... my other computer using XP Pro works fine.. but its too slow to use... drags... very slow...

Does any of these comments ring a bell as to what my temp inet problem might be..
I suppose I could ask for help at the cache view website, but its a free program so they may not offer much assistance..

But thanks so for for all the help.

In the cache viewer if you right click on one of the files it gives you a choice to open it in the folder in is in. Also go to folder options in control panel and find show hidden
folders and system hidden folders.
They really have hidden it on vista because MS does not want you there.

C:\Users\Jimmy\AppData\Local\Temp\Temporary Internet Files
Copy and paste this into the address bar of explorer and put you name where mine is.
Hopes this helps you.
