I can't rename my folder

Hi guys, I'm new around, I use to like vista, the graphics,etc, but now...i'm thinking very serios to go somewhere else, don't want to do it, but ....It's sad because I used to grow up with Microsoft.
Anyway my problem is like the others "can't rename my folder".I red all , i downloaded all the keys, but nothing.
Please, what can I do?
I'm the only owner/user from it.
Another problem i have with one "ntuser.dat" file that i can't delete.
I have more than 5 registry cleaner/repair in my computer, doesn't work with these two problems.
If anyone can help, i'll be gratful.

Hi Razvan, ntuser.dat is an essential system file & should be left alone, what happens is it is supposed to be hidden & some reg defrag or cleaning apps unhide it
Just right click on the file and select properties tick the hidden box then select apply then ok

The file you are trying to rename is it one of your own personal files or a system file, does it have an extension ie .dll .exe or such like ?

I personally do not recommend the use of reg cleaners unless the user is well versed in the mechanics of the registry, but this is just my own opinion i have supplied a couple of thread links that you can look at and maybee you could do some google searches of your own on reg cleaners so you can make your own informed decision

but doesn't help me too much.
i tried with the system restore, but my "wonderful" widows vista shows me only 3 dates, i've selected the fiirst one as date, but nothing, the same problem..
i'm sick of this, the only thing that i regret now is that i've bought the licence from my windows vista...
no problem..i'll go somewhere else, for this is competition made.

Guys, I did what you said, the result...big nothing.
I've tried the reg fix key for my 32bytes system.....nothing
I've made another administrator account.....nothing, the same error when i want to rename the folder..."the file doesn't exist" pop up..
How I can solve the problem??
How Can I refresh the folder?
The folder i want to create . I 've put "new folder" and tried to rename it...I can't..
I used registry cleaner...nothing...I think this is the reason why i can't .
My registry are dead maybe, It is very annoying guys, believe me.
I have this annoying "ntuser.dat" in my documents..
I've tried to restore the system , but my vista is giving only 2 options, I've tried both of them, but nothing..
Is any program, any key, any way to fix this??
Please let me know, I have windows home premium edition with my licence bought form microsoft.
Please help me

At this point it looks like you may need to backup anything that you do not want to lose and do a fresh install of Vista. :(

ok, ok with the fresh instal o f vista, but from where can i get a fresh copy of vista?
also from where can i take my drivers from my laptop??

The fresh copy of Vista is in your Recovery partition (usually D:\). What is the make of your PC? Maybe I have the reinstallation guidelines.

well i'm not sure what i have on my recovery partition...
I don't know how to access the recvery partition, all i know is that this has 7 gb space, it apperas as Hp recovery partition, with the logo from hp, and that's , nothing else, to run, or to execute.
My laptop is a Hp pavillion dv6000.
The thing that's killing me, is how to save couple of important things on my laptop, like my bookmarks, my mozilla add-ons.
If you guys have any suggestions, please let me know .

So it is an HP - easy. Backup all your data, turn the system off. Then after power-on, keep tapping F11. Then follow the Wizard.
