Solved Windows vista start up...????

I have a slow windows start up. Its been a year i have been using windows vista but recently from past month my start up of windows vista is getting very very slow...??
Any help on this, how to boost up the start up performance....???

Your slow startup could be caused by a driver, but first it may be a good idea to make sure the system is clean.

Run these free apps to clean your system.

CCleaner - Download (Backup your Registry when prompted).

Malwarebytes.org

Auslogics - Download Auslogics Disk Defrag

When you have done that go to Start > Run > type in the box "msconfig".
Go to startup and see what is running at startup, you can disable most startup items and restart them manually when needed.

It helped a lot but due to some physical memory dump issue i had to restore evrything...and Now every thing is working normal and fine....!!!
anywyas when needed i vil try out or pm u if i have any problem...!!

Right now I am having a problem tht is wenevr i on my laptop after some time like 2-3 hours it gets shutdown automatically...nd again when i switch it on within 5 minutes its gt switched off....i am having this prob since yesterday...could u pls help me on this...??

Due to what reason this prob might be...any idea...???

It sounds like it may be overheating. Laptops can be bad about that. Double check to make sure that the vents are blown out clean with a can of air. Does the laptop feel hot when it does this? If you leave the laptop turned off for a while to cool down, does it still shutdown within a few minutes of turning it back on?

Exactly i noticed this whenevr the laptop is over heated it shuts down....bt today i dint use it continuously so it did not gt switched off....!!! and when i leave the laptop to cool down thn start it it does not get switched off...!!!
this mite b the reason as u said...so any other solution...thn not using the laptop continuously ...for this problem...???

You could try a laptop cooling mat, a small mat that the laptop sits on, or a laptop cooling stand, there are quite a few out there, if you Google it you will find loads.

You're welcome. In addition to a cooling matt, you can blow out the vents to keep them clean and clear to allow more airflow. Also make sure that the vent is not covered or blocked while using it, and check you power management settings to have it set so that it is not always running at full power.
