Low Physical Memory/ System Freezes

Hi guys,

My computer is hardly functional. I am experiencing very low physical memory, and my computer keeps freezing (that is the whole system freezes to the point where I have to turn it off and back on to do anything besides move my mouse). Programs also freeze and keep reading "not responding." My physical memory usage is hovering around 80%. This problem is only two weeks old, and I've had the computer for about a year and a half

Well you can close a few things in task manager that might help, but what I suggest you do for the moment is increase your page file usage. right click on my computer go to properties> advanced and then increase your page file. by rule of thumb it should be 1.5 times the size of your ram. so if you have 1GB of ram, then your page file should be 1.5GB or 1536MB
Install startup inspector as well. This lets you choose which programs you want to run at startup - this way you only need to run the process (or program) affecting your memory when you want to run it.
