Athlon XP Overclock

I used SpeedFan and overclocked the FSB on an old Athlon XP 2800+ in my D325 workstation. It was rated at 2.08GHz and it is now at approximately 2.313GHz. Any other suggestions on how to increase it any more? The FSB reached its limit at 185MHz before the PC locks up and the multiplier is at the max of 12.5. I have vista Home Premium x86 on it and it runs great.

Just and FYI...by increasing the CPU clock the WEI went from 3.5 for the CPU up to 3.8.

Thanks in advance and I understand if I can't get any more out of it.

Hello Blackhawk7188,
Have you tried increasing the CPU voltage ?, this may make it a bit more stable.
Increase in very small increments and check the temp at each increase.
Give it a try and post your results, good luck.

Have you tried lowering the multiplier and raising the FSB ?, not ideal but it may improve the OC.
If that doesn't work out, then i would think you are at the limit.

SpeedFan didnt give me the option to change the multiplier. Is there any other way of doing that in a program?
