Wmplayer.exe error on some AVI files and then get com Surrogate error

This is what I get when I try to run SOM AVI files. I said some, because it doesn't happen everytime I open an AVI file.

However, I don't have problem when I open the SAME AVI files when I am in the administrator account. Why is that? What can I do to fix this problem?
