Fan speed control program - Club MyCE
look at AZImmortal's post; u can't use software; the only software that is related is ones that monitor fan speeds. u can always buy a cheap hardware controller that yyou can change the speeds with from dials.

It depends on what fans, and how they are connected.

ie CPU fans, case fans etc

Are they Molex connections, Connected to the mobo, Do they have PWM etc.

depending on your BIOS settings the fans attached to motherboard headers will run 100% by default, the only one you can throttle through windows is the CPU HSF fan (providing its ''PWM'' enabled), via ''speedfan''

''speedfan'' will only alter fans that are ''PWM'' ready, these fans have a ''4pin'' connection to the board.

so...... what fans are you talking about & how are they connected to your system.

Thats OK if you are gaming all the time, (like me), but it kinda gets noisy when just browsing the web.

naturalphenomen, can you tell us which fans you are talking about, the case fans or CPU/memory/GPU type fans.

Unless you have a proprietary motherboard (HP,DELL,GATEWAY,etc.), Speedfan should work with any computer. works fine with my 790i
