Hi there. Thanks for stopping by.
I'm currently running Vista 32 bit Home premium.
A couple of weeks ago, I had an issue with my Documents folder. It wasn't able to pull up from the start menu link, yet I saw two versions of it in places it wasn't to begin with.
OK, I seem to have minimized the problem.
I have everything condensed down to one doc folder, etc.
Now, the only issue I seem to be having is this 2 Desktop folder issue. As you see in this pic, at the top of the folders, we have a file named Desktop, which everything else seems to be in. It seems to be causing some loop issues with the other Desktop folder you see. When I right click the top folder for properties, I get taken to the personalization menu, with no other options.
I just need to sort out this problem between the desktop file and the username...I don't seem to recall the top folder ever being called Desktop, I seem to recall the top file being the Username, but I may be wrong on that. If I try to delete anything in either folder, it wipes both.
Also, files I actually WANT on the desktop are also listed at the bottom of the folders pic above.
There's probably something simple I'm over looking, so any help would be appreciated, even if my problem is somewhat...convoluted. My brain is warped from dealing with this.
