Hi everyone, just joined the forum as I have a strange problem going on concerning my computer. I had lots of viruses in it and with alot of scanning and cleaning I finally got rid of them.
I was using combofix finally and it did alot of good work but afterwards some really strange things have been going on with my computer. To list each down My desktop has got new icons such as duplicate files of what I have now and others that wernt on my desktop before I ran combofix and I cant delete them.
My internet homepage was changed to a microsoft link and it goes to msn.com all the time and I cant change the homepage cause it sticks. And now ive noticed that when I look through my files there is extensions now beside them for instance .jpg etc. This wasnt like this before I ran combofix, so it has done something to it.
Was just wondering what this could be and how do I fix it. It could be something else though but just dunno.
