Font changing pane too large

I'm running Vista Home Premium, 32 bit.

When attempting to change the font size with Personalize/adjust font size, the pane is too large to see the bottom, which apparently has something like "OK", or "apply" to make the actual requested change.

How can I change the size of this pane?

Thanks for any enlightment,

Jess

I know, doesn't that problem drive you crazy? This has happened to me on various websites, and I finally discovered, after much frustration, that what you have to do is to temporarily, change your DPI setting to a lower resolution. Then, the message box will contain all the text/images, and you can make your changes. (To change DPI, right-click on your Desktop, select Personalize, click on "Adjust font size" and make the change. Reboot.) Once you make your changes, you can go back and reset your DPI settings to the way you had them before.

If that doesn't help, here are a lot of additional ways to change your font size:

1. If you use IE8, at the lower right hand corner of every IE web page, there’s a Zoom control that lets you increase the size of every web page, and it stays at that Zoom setting for every page.

2. Open Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, General, Accessibility, Select Ignore font styles specified on web pages, check boxes and click OK, then Apply, then OK.

3. Open Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, uncheck all three:
Reset text size to Medium for new windows and tabs, and
Reset text size to Medium while Zooming, and
Reset Zoom level to 100% for new windows and tabs

4. Open Internet Explorer, click the Page button, click Text Size, and then select the size you want.

5. Ease of Access Center – Go to: Control Panel, and Explore all settings. Under the following heading, Make things on the screen larger, select: Change the size of text + icons. This takes you to the dpi settings screen.

6. If you have a scroll wheel on your mouse, use command/ctrl + your scroll on a web page to decrease the font size.
