Vista x64 Random Freezing (at wits end!)

Hey guys, I really need your help, I am at my wits end here trying to find out what is wrong with my computer! I just keep experiencing completely random freezes whilst I am in the middle of doing things. Let me try explain some things and what I have found out so far.

The whole computer just freezes and is completely unresponsive to anything. If i am playing music of a sound is playing then the sound freezes and plays the same milisecond of sound over and over. So it just makes this buzzing noise. Then after a few seconds the sound stops and the computer remains unresponsive. The only thing you can do is press the power button and manually restart. Sometimes I can go a few days with no freezes at all then other time i can go literally 30 seconds after logging on after having to restart from the last freeze and it will freeze again!

It is not faulty memory. I have run memtest on all my memory sticks and it found no errors. My computer specification is as follows:

AMD64 3.0GHz processor
6GB ram (no name brand of ram, cheap)
nVidia 9800GTX+ graphics card
Asus M3A-H HDMI motherboard
Vista x64
OCZ Stealth XStream 600W PSU

It is not an overheating problem. My ambient temperature for CPU (38C) and motherboard (50C) aren't that high really and my graphics card (65C) is not hot at all. This card will happily run at over 80C. So I dont think it is a overheating problem.

I thought it could be possible a powersupply problem but I doubt it. I have 600W powersupply. Here are my voltages:

Vcore Volatage - 1.440V
3.3V - 3.360V
5V - 5.107V
12V - 12.480V

I have searched the internet for what could be causing this and have found nothing. My graphics card is fully updated the most recent drivers and I have recently flashed my BIOS to the latest update aswell.

Could it be driver issues? I thought. But the freezes are completely random and have no pattern at all.

I also checked Event Viewer and it says that have been no critical errors at all. Which leads me to maybe thinking it is a motherboard issue, because this wouldnt record itself on the OS maybe? Also I read something about buying cheap RAM might need volatages changing in the motherboard because the voltages the RAM uses and the voltage the motherboard is giving it do not match, which could cause the RAM to fail? Which would explain the random freezing?

EDIT: all my RAM is the same type and off the same manufacturer, but I still get random freezes.

Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

they did have two different brands. "hyperam" and "elixir" but now i have taken the "hyperam" one out and put another "elixir" one in. So now all my RAM is made by elixir, I will see if it is any more stable. But I used to get this problem even on previous occasions when all my ram was the same manufacturer.
