hd videos from youtube take a lot of 'effort' from the cpu to buffer them. i reckon it is just normal.

Since you have a Geforce chip, you can take some of that load off of the videos by getting the adobe flashplayer 10.1 beta PLUG IN and the 195.62 Driver from Nvidia.

This flashplayer version (as well as the driver) adds gpu acceleration to everything that uses flash and is compatible with Youtube.

Have you tried letting it fully buffer before playing? Sometimes this does make a difference.

Everyone here is right. I am just adding. You're using Firefox, right? Yes, it's my fave and it's the best all in one browser out there.

There is a little problem with it. Well, it is a resource hog. It takes a lot, lot of CPU to work and a really great about of RAM as well. So, what you're facing is quite normal if watching HD videos. Live with it, and don't worry.
