Ever since a few days ago whenever i go to open my Briefcase on my desktop it takes an enormous amount of time to open and all that appears when i click the icon on the desktop is a blank window in which it says at the top " EXPLORER(NOT RESPONDING)". It takes the briefcase a few minutes to finally open and display all my files and folders inside.
It is also a pain when i am attempting to save something. For example: if i was to attempt to download a file i would click save, and normally it would direct itself into my briefcase. It still directs itself to my briefcase accept now the save procedure is "Not Responding and it takes plenty time to start responding and working again.

Hello Rickick,
How big is the briefcase you are trying to use? If is to big then your computer just might be lagging in the read/write time, even though you have a good enough HD. Also what is your processor speed. I dont see it on your system specs. This is all necessary information in solving the problem.

Yes, deffinatly start to make another. That is a lot ton of memory for one folder to constantly monitor and open/close + update. I would say never let any folder get over 75 GB. It is almost guarenteed to crash, or not respond.

i made a new one but it crashes the odd time !? andd when i try to delete one i cant. . I remove the Read-Only setting and still i cant selete it

It seems to be locked for some reason. Are you the administer of your computer?
Also, what type of protection are you using on your computer?
