Multiple BSODs (in safemode, and normal) Memory_Management, Bad_pool_header, etc

Hey everyone, someone brought me a Dell Inspiron 1525 running Windows Vista with either a huge problem, or multiple problems! haha

Upon booting in normal mode, first thing I noticed was I could not run ANY program. Anything I tried running I'd get a Windows Dialog box saying how that program has crashed. After a few minutes I'd get a BSOD.

Booted into safe mode to try and run a virus scan to maybe see what all was going on. It'd scan for a few seconds and then crash, and shortly after that give another BSOD.

I tried doing different things (turning off all startup items, tried getting to the windows update menu, etc) and all created various different BSODs.

I've gotten...

Memory Management

I might have gotten one other BSOD, but can't remember...

The research I did seemed like a lot of times this has to do with driver problems, she's not 100% sure when all of this started or what's she's installed recently. So this could be kind of fun! haha

Haven't had a problem to this magnitude before, any kind of logs I should post in here?

Post these logs:
Upload Dump Files
Please go to C:\Windows\Minidump and zip up the contents of the folder. Then upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
{Left click on the first minidump file.
Hold down the "Shift" key and left click on the last minidump file.
Right click on the blue highlighted area and select "Send to"
Select "Compressed (zipped) folder" and note where the folder is saved.
Upload that .zip file with your next post.

If you have issues with "Access Denied" errors, try copying the files to your desktop and zipping them up from there. If it still won't let you zip them up, post back for further advice.

If you don't have anything in that folder, please check in C:\Windows for a file named MEMORY.DMP. If you find it, zip it up and upload it to a free file hosting service - then post the link to it.
Then, follow the directions here to set your system for Minidumps (much smaller than the MEMORY.DMP file): Set MiniDump

Run these tests:
H/W Diagnostics:
Please start by running these hardware diagnostics:
Memory Diagnostics (read the details at the link)
HD Diagnostic (read the details at the link)

Also, please run one of these free, independent online malware scans to ensure that your current protection hasn't been compromised: Malware (read the details at the link)

So here is the minidump folder... and I ran the Memtet86+ and got 4008 errors... guessing that's not too good? haha (attached screen shot) is this the source of all the problems? what does this mean? Need new RAM?

Red on Memtest = BAD!!! It's most likely the primary problem with your system.

There's a problem with either your memory or with the slots on the motherboard.
To figure out which, go to paragraph 7 of my link to the memory tests.
