Hi,

This is regarding windows vistor backup.
I did backup on laptop yesterday, I have selected the recovery disc(D:).
once the backup gets started i could see my disc(D:) getting full.
So i have stopped it.

my questions is,
* whether it will overwrite my old backup or it will append the lateast update done on my laptop?

* whether it will create a problem while restoring via restore point, if I have stopped the backup intermediately?

* what is different between "backup and restore" & "restore point"?

Thanks,
Vignesh

These two terms go hand-and-hand with each other but a backup is more specifically saving information, (programs, files, etc), on an extra drive so there is room for mistakes/errors.

A restore point is something used to revert changes/go back to an earlier date.

I hope this helped with these two terms. I am sorry that I could not help with the rest of your problem.
