Hello jlp567,

Welcome to Vista Forums! :D

The tags are just keywords that the forum websearch uses for when someone does a search of the site.

Ok, so if your looking to install to a new formatted harddrive, i am 99.9% sure that you cant use a recovery disc. You will need a vista installation disc to do this. And there is no bootmgr because there is no former OS on the harddrive so there is nothing to "recover"

The installation DVD should be ~4.7GB
A quick google search will find the links to some sites where you can download this. Then burn it to a dvd and you will be all set.

Let us know,
Ben
