I have try to set the printer default but it doesn't do anything. I have downloaded the necessary drivers, try in the regedit. But nothing.

Have you tried using the hidden administrator account ?
Unlike WinXP, the first account created in Vista claims it is admin, but it isn't actually admin.
There is a tutorial in the tutorials section that will tell you how to activate the hidden admin account.
Log into the hidden admin account and work with your printer there.
Let usk now how it turns out.
