Windows Explore automatically opens up twice when Windows is launched

I have Vista 64 bit and have just recovered from Trojan viruses but since getting viruses, Windows Explorer automatically opens up twice during System Startup. I had quite a time removing two viruses recently. They seemed to cause Explorer to keep launching every couple of minutes! Now with the viruses removed by Super Antispyware in safe mode, I get Explorer automatically launching just twice when starting computer. Where can I find and address this issue- thanks for help!

Sounds like either explorer.exe was listed in Startup or the virus is still there.

Run HijackThis and MalwareBytes and attach both of the logs.

Great advice with Malwarebytes free ware! I did complete scan (55min) and it found 39 viruses and required a reboot and additional warning to delete "Quicktime" software! A complete rescan produced no viruses and it has also stopped the Windows Explore from auto launched on startup! Thanks- I am going to keep Malwarebytes! (Superantispyware and AVG 9.0 didn't find these viruses.):D
PS Original Trojan Viruses were 'TROJAN.AGENT/GEN-FRAUDLOAD & TROJAN.DROPPER/SYS-NV' if anyone else gets infected- stay away from downloading programs via Torrents!! Scanning them does not pick up on viruses before installing them!

I'm glad that it is solved! Please add to my reputation by clicking the scales of top of the post.

BTW, Torrents can contain viruses, but most of the time they don't. Antivirus/security software detects them because their code is written that way. But if you want SAFE torrents, use the Pirate Bay.
