Urgent...how to install win7x64+vistax64 on C (dual boot)

hi guys...
i need a help in this case,i have searched on all forums but i could not get any reliable info to proceed with.
i have windows 7 installed on my laptop,all i want now is,i want to install vista on my laptop too,but in a different case,my C drive is enough large,which is almost 70gb from which after win7 almost 38gb is empty.
i want to install vista on C with win7 already on C.
i read somewhere on forums that i shrink C drive and make new partition,but this is not what i want...i also read somewhere that i can install 2 OS in C drive and can dual boot with them.
if anyone can help me in this criteria,i will be very thankful to u.
(just to mention.both OS r x64,i mean i am using win7 x64 now,and will be installing vista x64 on c)

Hello Awaisagha, and welcome to Vista Forums.

You cannot install two operating systems on the same C: partition. They will each have to be either installed on separate drive letters, or on separate hard drives instead.

Since you already have Windows 7 install on C: , then you it would be easier for you to either create a D: partiton and install Vista on it, or add a separate hard drive to install Vista on.

In order to install Vista on C, you would have to format Windows 7 and start completely over. Either way they have to be installed on separate partitions or hard drives.
