Up until yesterday my direct3d was working fine, yesterday a started getting messages saying direct3d acceleration not available. I tried doing system restore to when it was working but it’s still not working, any ideas what the problem is.

hello dan
try going to device manager and find it there, I don't know what it will be called. (is this a video adapter?) click the little + signs until you find something about direct3d, once you find it. right click it and choose "properties" > driver tab > choose "roll back driver" ..see if that helps!

good luck

to get to device manager.....start > right click "computer" select "manage" click OK @ UAC prompt > choose device manager (left hand side)
