    shortcut changed or moved problem

    ive started to get an error message after i download a program and install it everytime i reboot it says problem with shortcut then the item and whatever the filename is that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved so this shortcut will no longer work properly do you want to delete this shortcut y or n.ive run malware software and avg but no threats found anyone got any ideas because im missing having pokerstars etc ..thnx

    hello
    can you still open it from the program file?
    start > computer > C: (or whatever drive it's on) > program files > pokerstar (open it and run the app from there) does this work??

    if yes , right click it and send it to desktop! does it stay on reboot?

    no it doesnt work from there either i read another reply on the same problem and they said it could be something to do with the defrag so have turned off scheduled defrag so am gonna try this and see what happens unless you have another idea?

    ok i turned off defrag downloaded real player and then same message when i reboot any ideas ive tried scans for malware viruses,uninstalled updates,stopped auto defrag, im at a loss please help...

    hi kenny 111111 im sorry i misunderstood where to open it from youre suggestion did let me open it it said i needed permission to open the file and a security badge was there im wondering if my security is setup wrong or something

    are you the administrator? if yes instead of trying to open it....right click it an choose "run as administrator"..good luck
