I have seen various versions of this vexatious problem on different forums around the place...does anyone have an answer???
I wanted to reinstall my Vista Home Basic 32 bit edition...so I used Backup Status and Configuration to backup onto my partitioned D drive. The backup was sucsessful so I went ahead and trustingly reinstalled windows, deleting all my files on C drive.
I then went ahead to restore. I get a message saying that the disk containing the backup is not accessible, make sure its turned on and connected. This is even though it does register that there is a backup there!!! I can see the backup files clearly in Explorer!
How do I get my files back????
