I utilized Gadwin Print Screen to capture a screen. I captured same and was trying to send the photo to desktop as a "JPEG" file. Well it is on my desktop, and I cannot get rid of it. Programs work, but must access them thru start menu. Tried to perform "system restore" but it would not correct the problem. Can anyone help me get my desktop screen back ?????? Please

Easy, set up new account and delete the old. Take ownership of the programs etc. and you can use in your new account

Of course I would be very happy to help. Its really easy. Go to search, by start menu type users. Go to user accounts. Then go to manage another account, then open new account. Then just follow the prompts. Make sure that you choose administraors account. Do not delte the old account, until you are sure you are happy with the new one. If you are unsure, there is no compelling reason to even delete the old account.

On second thought, do not delete it. Use the new one for a while. If you really want to delete, lets talk first. I or another equally helpful member will always be here for you.

The only big error that you could make is if you do not choose administrator account. It will be clearly shown. If you do not delete the old account, right away, any error can be corrected. Dont worry, just enjoy.

Well it is on my desktop, and I cannot get rid of it.
hello (go buckeyes)

I don't understand what you are saying, is this you desktop "background" or is this an icon that you can't delete? and if its your background, can you see your program icons?

could you try to explain in a different way or take a screen shot?

witch brings me to wonder why you would use a screen capture program when you have two of them built into windows already, but i'm sure you have your own reasons..

heres instructions on posting a screenshot its a different forum but this forum uses the same features...good luck

hello
thanks, now I see....when you go to: Start > (your name) > desktop

can you delete it from there? if no try: just put your mouse over it (highlight it ) and push shift + del keys @ same time....

If still not try downloading unlocker, this a tool that should delete it.. it will be in your right click context when you need it..
Download Unlocker 1.8.7 - FileHippo.com
