Just did a motherboard and memory update and computer will not boot.
Went from 780i to 790i and ddr2 to ddr3 memory. The computer was up and running yesterday after I installed the motherboard and memory. Installed all my drivers and updated everything, cause the computer had been down for a month or so. The computer had no problems restarting after automatic restarts, but when I shut the computer off at the end of the night I could not turn it on in the morning. The computer is doing the same thing that it was before the upgrade. It would turn on for a split second, the fans and lights turned on but shut off in a instant. Please tell me my new board isn't fried. The motherboard seems to be stuck in stand-by mode. The power button is lit yellow and the blue LED stand-by light is also on.. When you hit the power button on the motherboard everything starts up for just a split second. Then the DIMM LED turns on (Yellow).
I have a velocity micro...can't rem who builds them Pentium I think.

G-force 8800 GT (EVGA)
790i SLI FTW (EVGA)
